Hi there, my name is Amanda Craig and I’m currently based at my home in Broughty Ferry or at Ashludie Pharmacy, Victoria Street, Monifieth. Home visits and pamper parties may also be available on request. Registered on the Angus Carers Centre approved list of therapists, I’m enjoying providing massage therapy to carers in Monifieth, Carnoustie and Arbroath and have had fun volunteering at the Dundee Carers Centre Pamper Day every year since 2008.
Having originally come from an office background, I left my full-time job in 2006 and started studying full-time at Dundee College and completed my HNC Complementary Therapies the following year. Then I went on to Perth College to do Advanced Aromatherapy and Advanced Massage Techniques. After also doing some more theory units, I qualified in Hot Stone Therapy and Indian Head Massage in 2010. In 2011, I trained in Pregnancy Massage with Inspire Massage Workshops.
I am a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists), am fully insured, Disclosure checked and First Aid trained.
Previously, I was based at Chrysalis Health & Wellbeing, Gray St, Broughty Ferry and also Natural Balance, Tay Square, Dundee.
Consultations are free. If you’re unsure if a treatment would be suitable, come for a no obligation consultation to find out more and if you have very sensitive skin an essential oil patch test can be done free of charge.
My aim is to help people feel better with the use of quality essential oils and manual therapies.
